Celebrate the New England Wildlife Center’s 25th birthday on October 25 from 1pm – 8pm. The Center is located at 500 Columbian Street, South Weymouth, MA. Last year our grand opening drew 3,000 people. Special VIP appearances to be announced. Listen here..
  • The event is a fall festival and green living fair which will include:
    • Llamas Walk
    • Pony Rides
    • Live Animals – special appearances by Center education animals including snakes, iguanas, bearded dragons, turtles and more.
    • Hospital tours – see New England Wildlife Center veterinarians first-hand helping injured wild animals.
    • Teddy Bear Clinic – Bring your broken and torn teddies or other stuffed animals for mending.
    • Carnival games & prizes – moon walk, three-legged, wheel barrel and sack races, strike bell, raffle, stringed donut eating contest, apple dunking.
    • Music – Indoor and outdoor open-mike sessions featuring YOU! Come prepared to jam, play solo, sing or recite poetry. We want to hear why environmental protection is important to you.
    • Storytelling around the campfire.
    • Food and drinks – including a cook out and bake sale.
At dark it's the “Night of a Thousand Faces” pumpkin walk. Hundreds of lit pumpkins line our ¾ mile long Andrea McKenna Harris Nature Trail.


Injured Wildlife

Tickets are $10 per person and are available for pre-purchase beginning October 1 st by calling Kelly at 781 682 4878 x121 or Libby at x119. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event. $10 per person. A great way to advertise your company and/or your love of the environment and wildlife is to become an event sponsor. New England Wildlife Center epitomizes “acting locally, thinking globally.” This national model of environmental education, wildlife care, and non-profit entrepreneurship was created right here in Massachusetts. The Center has served our families, schools, and businesses for 25 continuous years. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of the Center.
